NAMS has begun restoration works on Walter’s Brook in Banks Reserve. The works involve re-contouring and stabilising the channel which drains into the Swan River. NAMS are in the process of installing gabion mattresses and baskets. The project is supported by the local indigenous group. The objective of the project is to stabilise the banks, decrease nutrient flow into the river and enhance the general aesthetics of the area
