Environmental Field Crew

Applications Open for 2020 Field Crew Roles

We are currently taking applications for Field Crew positions within our team for May – October, working in the Perth Metro area from our Beeliar, Malaga or Whiteman depots. Mandatory Requirements
  • Current or complete RELEVANT Environmental Science/Conservation University or TAFE Qualification
  • Available to work 5 full (7am to 3:30pm) work days/week
  • Own reliable personal transport (not public) and manual WA Drivers Licence (C class or higher)
  • Perth bushland weed and plant ID knowledge
  • Knowledge of weed control/planting techniques
  • Experience with small motors and using 2-stroke fuel
  • Attention to detail, genuine care and passion for native environments
  • Physically fit, self-motivated and able to function in a team environment
  • Reliable, with a good sense of humour
  • Currently living in Perth or Bunbury, WA and Australian resident/citizen

Applicants with Chemcert (or equivalent TAFE units), and a current Pesticide Licence will be looked upon favourably. Salary negotiated based upon qualifications and experience, initially the positions are Graduate Positions. Successful applicants must be willing to undergo a pre-employment functional assessment (min. 1 day) to determine final suitability. We have a smoke free work environment and also undertake compulsory random drug testing.

Native Plant Nursery Horticulturist

  • Physically fit, self-motivated and able to function in a team environment
  • Reliable, with a good sense of humour
  • Currently living in Perth or Bunbury, WA and Australian resident/citizen

What should I wear to the interview?

You are required to wear field attire to your interview. This includes:

  • Long work pants
  • Long sleeved high-vis shirt (crease free), or a high-vis vest to wear over a plain work shirt (no other company logos are permitted)
  • Steel capped work boots
