Jarred Pedro

Project Manager
B. Sc (Environmental Biology)

Jarred brings a wealth of on ground project implementation experience to the Natural Area team, having previously managed many high-profile construction projects. Jarred is a ticketed and experienced equipment operator, having worked extensively with Natural Area’s own equipment (Komatsu PC18MR excavator with rock grab and Terex PT-30 posi track), and has also operated larger equipment such as a Terex PT-100 posi track loader, Kubota 8T excavator, Kubota skidsteer, Thwaites 9T site dumper, Volvo wheeled loader, Cat 30 tonne excavator and rolling equipment.

Another of Jarred’s strengths is his ability to problem solve on the job and complete high-quality works at sites where various issues may be encountered, such as limited access, high pedestrian traffic, sensitive native vegetation or potential acid sulfate soils present. This was recently evident in his delivery of the Apex Park and Coffee Point Revetments along The Esplanade, Mount Pleasant and Canning Beach Road, Applecross (City of Melville), where he was tasked with completing a complex foreshore erosion project in a high traffic area with limited space for material lay down or equipment access, and the presence of existing native sedges and established trees.

Additionally, Jarred has been managing multiple projects for separate clients over the same time period. The foreshore restoration works at Burswood Foreshore for the Department of Finance and Beach Stair Access replacement at Sorrento Street and James Street for the City of Stirling were successfully run concurrently. Works were implemented to a high standard whilst meeting the expectations and requests of each client.
